This is the 6th part of our series on the HR Tech World Startup Competition powered by Cornerstone. Faye Holland, our MC for the startup expo, writes about the 5 finalists (and 10 runners-up) who will compete for a sponsorship package during HR Tech World Amsterdam. Joining us at HR Tech World 2017 Amsterdam on the #HRTWStartup Competition stage is Robot Vera, a helping hand for recruiters processing routine tasks. Vera assists recruitment teams by searching CVs on job boards, calling candidates and creating custom email replies. According to Robot Vera, gone are the days of going through an array of candidates, instead, Robot Vera only puts forward qualified candidates for face-to-face interviews, claiming clients have calculated that Vera does all basic HR tasks up to ten times faster than humans and saves up to 50% money on each newly hired employee.
After achieving great results in Russia, Alexey of Robot Vera tells me the team wants to broaden their horizon to the global recruitment market. Although they aspire to win the HR Tech World Startup Competition in Amsterdam, the team behind Robot Vera sees HR Tech World as the best global launchpad for them and is looking to meet new international partners, experts and customers.
Alexey knows the HR Tech space is evolving and this includes the emergence of other products solving the same recruitment issues (including another in the competition!). But Robot Vera sees itself in a strong position; already working with more than 220 companies, Robot Vera has finessed its business processes. Both Vera and the team behind her know how to work for best results and pass those benefits to clients with only qualified candidates who are interested in their vacancy. It may only work with five job websites for now, but Alexey tells me that’s a matter of time as they’re in active negotiations with some potential new partners. And who knows who they’ll meet at HR Tech World?!
