Creating a New Vision for the HR Operating Model

Thursday 1st July at 10am BST

@vita via Twenty20

Unleash Your HR Global HR tech leaders examine the current reality of the HR operating model and put forward a framework that will allow HR professionals to be the strategic partners we need them to be.

Despite HR making bigger steps than we could have ever predicted towards becoming a strategic people partner over the last 12 months, HR professionals are still spending most of their time tied up with admin work within their function – a terrifying 86% of their time according to a recent study by EY (Ernst & Young).

How can we expect the function to embrace new strategic roles and responsibilities when the very framework it sits in prevents them from doing so? The current operating model not fit for purpose and by using it, HR is being set up to fail.

It is time the industry calls out for a wholesale transformation of the HR function and realizes a new vision for HR. This session will bring together leaders in HR tech to reframe the current operating model and put forward their own ideas for how we can liberate HR professionals to be the strategic partners we need them to be.

Topics to be discussed:

  • Understanding the values that must be at the core of the modern HR operating model
  • The role of digitalization in empowering HR to deliver new people services
  • Identifying cost and time-reduction opportunities
  • The transformation of talent analytics to human capital intelligence
  • Building a robust and resilient HR operations team
