  • Vivek Wadhwa warns a decade of disruption is coming and business leaders will either thrive or die.
  • Exponential technology is changing how we work, live, and future-proof ourselves.
  • The remote work revolution can not last if we prioritize innovation.

Distinguished Harvard Fellow and Silicon Valley-based entrepreneur Vivek Wadhwa discusses his theory of a ‘decade of disruption’ and how business leaders can utilize new technology to thrive with UNLEASH CEO Marc Coleman.

While Vivek believes the pandemic has triggered a real need for fast-tracked digital innovation in order to survive the changes of the next 10 years, Marc is not so sure.

The question is: Where do you stand?

Watch the below video to engage with the debate and find out what Vivek has to say about COVID-19 vaccinations, the responsibilities of employers and employees, and the pandemic’s impact on the labor market.

Vivek also touches on the changes brought on by climate change and the impact on specific industries as well as the longevity of remote working in the post-pandemic world.

While Vivek believes some workforces will be distributed — and individuals will be able to continue working remotely – he says creatives and innovators will need to continue working face-to-face. He also thinks people are going to want to return to the office to feel a sense of belonging and to avoid being overlooked when it comes to promotions.

Looking ahead, Vivek believes key technologies such as artificial intelligence, networks, sensors, robots, synthetic biology, and quantum computing, are on an exponential path.

Vivek is a successful tech entrepreneur and the author of five best-selling books: From Incremental to Exponential; Your Happiness Was Hacked; The Driver in the Driverless Car; Innovating Women; and The Immigrant Exodus.
