It’s that time of year again—HR Tech World is in full preparations for our flagship Amsterdam show on October 24-25, which will be our largest yet. This time around we’re showcasing our speaker lineup to over 4000 delegates and hosting two main stages plus a dedicated iRecruit stage, along with 12 breakout tracks.
The show is going to be HUGE.
With preparations in full swing, we’re excited to be able to share our first round of speakers with you. While HR Tech World’s CEO Marc Coleman has already announced that Arianna Huffington will be our featured keynote for the show, we’re also excited to have HR technology and the Future of Work thought leaders Peter Hinssen and Josh Bersin join us.
But that’s not all! Take a glance at other speaker news that is currently being released:
The first speaker we’d like to highlight is Corinne Vigreux, the Co-Founder of TomTom as well as its Managing Director of consumer business. Vigreux has been a leader in European innovation and technology for over 15 years and grew TomTom from a startup to the brand it is today – one that introduced the first ever personal navigation device. She’s been instrumental in paving the way for TomTom’s offerings to include sports watches and action cameras. Besides being a leader in technology, she has also been at the forefront of working to get more women into senior levels of business.
Olivier Blum, Chief Human Resources Officer, for Schneider Electric will also speak at the Amsterdam show. Blum will highlight how companies can support the various ambitions of their employees while balancing local talent development and global mobility. He’ll discuss how Schneider has created a global hub and satellite locations to provide career opportunities across their markets and what they are working on to take this multi-hub model to the next level.
We’ll hear from Hot Topic’s Head of Recruiting, Johnny Sanchez, on HR and gamification. In his talk, Sanchez will discuss how Hot Topic uses gamification in their onboarding and training process. This has resulted in an increase in the lifetime value of employees and overall employee satisfaction.
Not enough to whet your appetite? Delegates will also enjoy a presentation by Dell’s Jim Jackson, VP of Talent Acquisition EMEA, who will discuss the use of people analytics in the hiring process.
Addie van Rooij, VP World Wide People Operations at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, will share his experiences with connecting a company’s HR strategy to its business strategy, including roadblocks that might arise and teams can overcome them.
While there are plenty of speakers to come, the last presentation we’d like to mention (for now) will be given by Charu Malhotra. Malhotra is the Global Head of Employer & Talent Attraction at Ferrero SA. Leading Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition for the company behind Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Kinder Surprise and Bueno, she will share the recipe for creating what she describes as “the melting pot for a new global talent brand”, highlighting the work she and Ferrero have done to create a localized employer identity and which habits they avoid within their organization.
We’ll be providing more information about our speaker lineup leading up to HR Tech World Amsterdam as it comes, so be sure to circle back to our blog for updates on what to expect at the biggest HR Tech World yet!
